Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make VanVision Eyecare Center the leading provider of vision care products and services in Olympia.

 

 

Van B. Ly, Optometric Physician

Dr. Ly is a native of Olympia. She graduated from North Thurston High School in 1999. After graduation she moved to Seattle where she attended the University of Washington and received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Dr. Ly then moved on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. After graduation she dedicated the next year to her residency in Cornea & Contact Lenses at Pacific University in Portland, Oregon. She also spent time at the Portland VA Medical Center where she provided eye care and was the only VA Hospital based optometrist in the northwest to fit our veterans with medical contact lenses. Besides providing primary eye health exams, Dr. Ly also offers dry eye therapy and therapeutic contact lenses for patients with keratoconus, post-corneal transplant, high astigmatism, high nearsighted, high farsighted, and presbyopia (difficulty focusing near) and more.
